Vinnare i det parallella uppdraget om en tillbyggnad för riksarkivets administrationsbyggnad blev ett förslag av Johan Celsings Arkitektkontor.
Förslaget består av en fristående byggnad för kontorsändamål och bostäder. En glasad foajé på den nedre våningen ansluter till det gamla arkivet.

Johan Celsing arkitektkontor has won the invited competition for the extension of Riksarkivet, the National Archives, at Marieberg in Stockholm. The winning scheme presented a separate new building that will contain offices and public spaces as well as 47 apartments overlooking the surrounding city and waterways. The new building has a glazed foyer on the lower ground floor connecting to the old archive. In between the new and old building will be a new out-door public space that open to adjoining streets and pedestrian parkways.Tidigare post
